These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in Mission Safe Schools (“Mission”), a national school-safety initiative of the National Council for School Safety (“NCSS”).
These Terms apply to all schools, educational institutions and other participating institutions, irrespective of the amount of contribution, participation category, cohort or programme through which they participate.
By registering for the Mission, submitting information, accepting an invitation, making a voluntary contribution, participating in an assessment, attending a Mission activity, or otherwise participating in the Mission, the participating institution (“Institution”, “School”, “Participant”, “you” or “your”) agrees to these Terms.
Where an individual accepts these Terms on behalf of an Institution, that individual represents and warrants that they have the authority to bind the Institution.
Mission Safe Schools is an initiative of NCSS designed to strengthen school-safety governance through structured frameworks, institutional assessment, benchmarking, capacity building, knowledge sharing, research, advocacy and social impact.
The Mission is built around the 4Ps of School Safety:

Depending on the applicable participation category, the Mission may include:
Institutional participation;
School-safety assessment;
National School Safety Benchmark (“NSSB”);
Institutional benchmarking;
National School Safety Index;
Gap analysis and improvement recommendations;
School-safety resources and tools;
Leadership and capacity-building programmes;
Workshops and knowledge sessions;
Mission Safe Schools Magazine;
NCSS Conclave and other events;
Research and national reporting;
Institutional case studies;
Advocacy and policy engagement; and
Social-impact initiatives supporting schools with limited access to structured school-safety resources.
The exact components available to an Institution shall depend on the applicable participation category and programme communication.
Mission Safe Schools seeks to encourage institutions to move from a purely compliance-oriented approach to a system of:
Measure → Benchmark → Improve → Monitor → Strengthen
The Mission is intended to help institutions understand the maturity of their existing safety systems and identify areas requiring strengthening.
Participation in the Mission does not represent or guarantee that an Institution is free from safety risks or incidents.
Participation may be available to:
Schools;
Pre-schools;
K–12 institutions;
Educational institutions;
School groups;
Trusts, societies and educational organisations; and
Other institutions approved by NCSS.
NCSS may establish specific eligibility criteria for particular programmes, assessments, cohorts or activities.
NCSS reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation where an Institution does not satisfy applicable eligibility, integrity, safeguarding or administrative requirements.
An Institution may register through:
The Mission Safe Schools website;
Online registration forms;
Official NCSS communications;
Payment/registration platforms;
Written proposals;
Email confirmation; or
Other authorised channels.
Submission of a registration does not automatically constitute acceptance into a particular programme or cohort.
NCSS may undertake reasonable verification before confirming participation.
Participation becomes effective once NCSS has accepted the Institution and applicable participation requirements have been completed.
The person submitting the registration or accepting these Terms on behalf of an Institution confirms that they are authorised to do so.
The Institution is responsible for ensuring that:
Information provided to NCSS is accurate;
Appropriate internal approvals have been obtained;
Documents are lawfully shared;
Necessary permissions have been obtained from individuals whose personal information is submitted; and
Its representatives comply with these Terms.
Mission Safe Schools may be supported through voluntary institutional contributions towards the broader objectives and social-impact work of the Mission.
The applicable contribution, where required, shall be communicated to the participating Institution through the relevant invitation, registration, proposal, payment page or other authorised communication.
These Terms do not prescribe or guarantee any particular contribution amount.
The applicable contribution may vary depending on the nature, category, scope, duration, assessment requirements or other applicable parameters of participation.
A contribution is made towards supporting the Mission and its objectives and is not a purchase price for recognition, ranking, assessment outcome, certification or government endorsement.
Contributions received in connection with Mission Safe Schools may be utilised towards the Mission's objectives, including:
Development and implementation of school-safety frameworks;
Research and benchmarking;
School-safety assessments and tools;
Institutional capacity building;
Training and awareness;
Technology and programme infrastructure;
Publications and knowledge resources;
National-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement;
Mission events and convenings;
Documentation and dissemination of good practices; and
Social-impact initiatives supporting schools and communities with limited access to structured school-safety resources.
NCSS may allocate contributions across these activities based on programme requirements and the broader objectives of the Mission.
This is a fundamental principle of Mission Safe Schools.
Recognition is earned; it is not purchased.
Payment or contribution does not guarantee:
A particular NSSB score;
A particular benchmark classification;
Recognition;
Certification;
Ranking;
Inclusion in a particular Index category;
Publication;
Media coverage;
Government endorsement; or
Government recognition.
Where recognition or benchmark status is provided, it shall be based on the applicable methodology, eligibility requirements, evidence and assessment outcome.
Where a contribution is applicable, it may be made through payment mechanisms authorised by NCSS, including approved digital payment platforms, bank transfer or other authorised mechanisms.
The Institution is responsible for providing accurate:
Institutional information;
Billing information;
GST information, where applicable;
Contact information; and
Transaction information.
Where a payment gateway is used, the transaction may also be subject to the terms and conditions of that payment provider.
A contribution shall be treated as received only once payment has been successfully processed and confirmed through the applicable payment mechanism.
NCSS may issue an appropriate:
Receipt;
Acknowledgement;
Payment confirmation; or
Other applicable documentation.
If an amount is debited from the Institution's account but is not reflected as received by NCSS, the Institution may provide the relevant transaction reference for verification.
Contributions shall be acknowledged and documented in accordance with the legal and tax status applicable to NCSS and the nature of the contribution.
NCSS shall provide an appropriate receipt or acknowledgement for contributions received, wherever applicable.
No representation is made in these Terms that a contribution automatically qualifies for any tax deduction, exemption, credit or other tax benefit.
Any tax benefit or deduction available to the contributing Institution shall depend on applicable law and the eligibility and tax status of both the contributor and recipient.
12.1 General Principle
Because contributions support the broader objectives of Mission Safe Schools and may be committed towards programme infrastructure and implementation, contributions are generally non-refundable once received and acknowledged, except:
Where NCSS expressly approves a refund in writing;
In the case of a verified duplicate payment;
Where payment was demonstrably made in error;
Where a refund is required under applicable law; or
In other exceptional circumstances determined by NCSS.
12.2 Institution-Initiated Cancellation
If an Institution voluntarily withdraws after its participation has been confirmed, the contribution will ordinarily be non-refundable.
This is because NCSS may already have incurred or committed resources towards:
Programme administration;
Assessment preparation;
Technology;
Personnel;
Documentation;
Research;
Events;
Publication; and
Institutional engagement.
12.3 Duplicate Payment
Where an Institution makes a verified duplicate payment for the same participation, NCSS may refund the duplicate amount after verification.
Non-recoverable payment-processing charges may be deducted where legally permissible.
12.4 NCSS-Initiated Cancellation
If NCSS permanently cancels a programme and cannot provide a substantially equivalent alternative, NCSS shall determine the appropriate treatment of the relevant contribution, taking into account:
Programme components already delivered;
Costs already incurred;
Alternative participation offered; and
Applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any mandatory statutory right.
12.5 Postponement
If an event, assessment or programme activity is postponed, NCSS may offer:
A revised date;
An alternative delivery mechanism; or
An equivalent programme component.
Postponement does not automatically create a right to a full refund.
The National School Safety Benchmark (“NSSB”) is an assessment and benchmarking mechanism developed and administered by NCSS.
Depending on the applicable programme, assessment may examine the Institution across the 4Ps:
Policy
The existence, adequacy, accessibility and review of relevant safety policies.
Process
The systems, SOPs, reporting mechanisms, escalation mechanisms and institutional processes through which safety policies are implemented.
People
The roles, responsibilities, training, awareness and preparedness of personnel responsible for school safety.
Practice
Evidence demonstrating actual implementation, monitoring, review and continuous improvement.
NCSS may establish and periodically revise:
Assessment criteria;
Evidence requirements;
Scoring methodology;
Weightages;
Thresholds;
Benchmark categories;
Assessment frequency; and
Review mechanisms.
Changes may be introduced to improve the relevance, reliability and integrity of the framework.
The methodology applicable to an Institution shall ordinarily be the methodology communicated for the relevant assessment cycle.
The Institution may be required to provide reasonable evidence, which may include:
Policies;
SOPs;
Registers;
Training records;
Committee records;
Awareness material;
Emergency preparedness records;
Drill records;
Implementation evidence;
Institutional photographs;
Relevant documentation; and
Other evidence reasonably required for the assessment.
The information requested shall be proportionate to the relevant programme or assessment purpose.
For programme, assessment, benchmarking and research purposes, NCSS may request relevant institutional information relating to:
Governance and Policy
Child protection policies;
POCSO-related policies and procedures;
Anti-bullying policies;
Safety policies;
Emergency policies;
Transport safety policies;
Visitor-management systems;
Digital safety policies; and
Relevant governance structures.
Processes
Reporting mechanisms;
Complaint-handling procedures;
Escalation protocols;
Emergency response systems;
Incident management processes;
Documentation systems; and
Review and monitoring mechanisms.
People
Safety committee structures;
Designated safeguarding personnel;
Roles and responsibilities;
Training records;
Capacity-building records; and
Awareness initiatives.
Practice
Evidence of implementation;
Drills;
Training delivery;
Awareness activities;
Monitoring;
Internal reviews;
Corrective action; and
Continuous improvement.
Participation does not give NCSS unrestricted access to the Institution's systems.
Unless separately authorised, NCSS shall not have automatic access to:
Student information systems;
ERP systems;
HR systems;
CCTV systems;
Email systems;
Internal networks;
Personal devices;
Passwords;
Biometric systems;
Financial systems; or
Student medical records.
Where specific physical or technical access is required for an approved assessment, such access shall require appropriate authorisation and shall be limited to the stated purpose.
Where applicable, NCSS may verify information provided by the Institution through:
Document review;
Interviews;
Virtual assessments;
Physical assessment visits;
Evidence sampling;
Discussions with authorised representatives; and
Follow-up reviews.
The scope and methodology shall depend on the applicable programme.
The Institution is responsible for ensuring that information submitted to NCSS is:
Accurate;
Complete;
Current;
Relevant;
Lawfully obtained; and
Not materially misleading.
Where material information changes after submission, the Institution should notify NCSS where such change may affect assessment, recognition or published information.
If NCSS reasonably determines that an Institution has:
Fabricated evidence;
Submitted materially false information;
Manipulated assessment evidence;
Concealed material information;
Misrepresented safety systems; or
Attempted to improperly influence an assessment,
NCSS may:
Reject the evidence;
Suspend the assessment;
Require clarification;
Require corrective evidence;
Suspend participation;
Withdraw recognition;
Remove the Institution from relevant publications or lists; or
Terminate participation.
Where legally required or appropriate, NCSS may refer material concerns to the relevant authority.
Any recognition, designation, benchmark status or other Mission status may be reviewed, suspended or withdrawn if:
It was obtained through materially false information;
Relevant evidence was materially inaccurate;
The Institution no longer satisfies applicable criteria;
There is serious misconduct affecting the integrity of the designation; or
Continued recognition would materially undermine the credibility of the Mission.
Where appropriate, the Institution may be given an opportunity to respond before final action is taken.
Where applicable, institutional information may be used for the National School Safety Index.
The Index may support:
Benchmarking;
Research;
Institutional comparison;
Trend analysis;
National reporting;
Policy research; and
Impact measurement.
The methodology, publication criteria and categories applicable to the Index may be determined and updated by NCSS.
Public outputs will ordinarily prioritise institutional, aggregated or anonymised information.
Personal data relating to identifiable individuals shall not be publicly disclosed unless there is an appropriate legal basis and, where required, consent.
Participating institutions may be invited to contribute an institutional story to the Mission Safe Schools Magazine.
Subject to appropriate permissions, an institutional story may include:
Institutional profile;
School-safety journey;
Initiatives;
Leadership perspective;
Good practices;
Photographs;
Institutional information;
Outcomes; and
Learning and challenges.
Selection for publication is not guaranteed merely by participation.
NCSS may edit material for:
Accuracy;
Editorial quality;
Length;
Format;
Legal compliance; and
Child-safety considerations.
Mission Safe Schools may prepare national-level reports, research, recommendations and impact documentation.
Such material may be shared with relevant stakeholders, including, where appropriate:
Ministry of Education;
Prime Minister's Office;
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights;
Ministry of Women and Child Development;
State Governments;
Education departments;
Statutory authorities;
Child-rights bodies; and
Other relevant public institutions.
Such submission or presentation does not constitute government endorsement, certification or approval.
NCSS shall accurately represent the nature of its engagement with government and public authorities.
An important objective of Mission Safe Schools is to extend the benefits of structured school-safety governance beyond participating institutions.
As part of the Mission's social-impact objectives, NCSS intends to support safety-strengthening work across 200 Satya Bharati Schools of Bharti Foundation, subject to programme design, institutional coordination, partner arrangements, available resources and operational feasibility.
Participation by an Institution does not create a contractual entitlement to services at any particular third-party school.
The social-impact component may include, depending on programme design:
Awareness;
Training;
Governance support;
Safety resources;
Assessment;
Capacity building;
Documentation; and
Other approved interventions.
NCSS may modify the implementation model where reasonably necessary to maximise social impact.
The Founding Cohort is a designated category within Mission Safe Schools.
Founding Cohort institutions may receive additional benefits or responsibilities, which may include:
Founding Institution status;
Participation in the initial national cohort;
Opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the framework;
Institutional story documentation;
Potential inclusion in the inaugural Mission Safe Schools Magazine;
National-level visibility;
Participation in designated Mission events; and
Other benefits specifically communicated by NCSS.
Founding Cohort participation does not alter the Institution's obligations under these Terms.
The Institution may provide NCSS with:
Institutional name;
Logo;
Institutional description;
Photographs;
Approved quotes;
Programme information;
Institutional achievements;
Safety initiatives; and
Case studies.
Subject to applicable permissions, the Institution grants NCSS a non-exclusive right to use approved institutional material for Mission-related:
Publications;
Website;
Magazine;
Reports;
Events;
Presentations;
Social media;
Research; and
Advocacy.
NCSS will take reasonable steps not to publish information expressly identified as confidential without appropriate authorisation, subject to legal requirements.
Mission activities may involve photography and videography.
The Institution is responsible for ensuring that appropriate permissions are obtained where it provides photographs, videos or other identifiable material involving students, staff, parents or other individuals.
NCSS shall handle personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Particular care shall be taken with identifiable information relating to children.
Nothing in these Terms transfers or reduces the Institution's statutory or safeguarding responsibilities.
Each Institution remains responsible for complying with applicable requirements relating to:
Child protection;
POCSO;
Safeguarding;
Mandatory reporting;
Staff conduct;
Institutional safety; and
Emergency response.
NCSS may provide training, guidance, assessment, frameworks and recommendations but does not assume operational control of the Institution.
Participation in Mission Safe Schools does not constitute a representation that an Institution is fully compliant with every applicable law.
Institutions should not submit unnecessary student-identifiable information.
Unless specifically requested through an approved process, schools should not upload:
Student case files;
Medical records;
Counselling records;
Identifiable safeguarding complaints;
Aadhaar information;
Financial information;
Passwords; or
Other sensitive personal information.
Where personal or child data is genuinely required for a specific activity, the Institution must ensure that disclosure is lawful and that required permissions, notices and safeguards are in place.
Personal data processed through Mission Safe Schools shall be governed by the Mission Safe Schools Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and rules and regulations applicable from time to time.
The Institution agrees to:
Provide accurate information;
Use approved submission channels;
Obtain necessary permissions;
Avoid unnecessary personal data;
Protect credentials and confidential information; and
Follow applicable child-data requirements.
All intellectual property belonging to NCSS or developed by NCSS in connection with the Mission shall remain the property of NCSS or its relevant licensors.
This includes:
Mission Safe Schools branding;
4P framework;
NSSB methodology;
Assessment tools;
Templates;
Manuals;
Reports;
Research;
Training content;
Digital tools;
Methodologies;
Logos;
Publications; and
Other proprietary material.
Participation does not transfer ownership of such intellectual property to the Institution.
The Institution may use Mission materials supplied to it only for authorised purposes unless NCSS provides written permission for broader use.
The Institution shall not:
Reproduce proprietary methodology for commercial purposes;
Modify and represent NCSS materials as its own;
Sell Mission materials;
License Mission materials to third parties;
Remove NCSS attribution; or
Misrepresent an NCSS framework as an independent institutional framework.
The Institution retains ownership of its pre-existing:
Policies;
Documents;
Logos;
Brand assets;
Internal methodologies; and
Proprietary content.
Submission of such material to NCSS does not transfer ownership.
The Institution grants NCSS a limited, non-exclusive licence to use submitted material as reasonably necessary for:
Assessment;
Benchmarking;
Programme administration;
Reporting;
Documentation;
Publication where authorised; and
Research and Mission activities.
NCSS shall take reasonable steps to protect institutional information identified as confidential.
Confidential information may nevertheless be disclosed where:
Required by law;
Required by a court or competent authority;
Necessary to protect life, safety or rights;
Necessary to administer the Mission;
Shared with professional advisers subject to appropriate obligations;
The information has lawfully become public; or
The Institution authorises disclosure.
The Institution should clearly identify confidential information at the time of submission.
Where NCSS is legally required to disclose information to a government authority, regulator, court, law-enforcement agency or other competent authority, NCSS may make such disclosure notwithstanding confidentiality restrictions, subject to applicable law.
Where legally permissible, NCSS may notify the Institution of such disclosure.
NCSS may use third-party providers for:
Payment processing;
Website hosting;
Cloud storage;
Technology;
Communication;
Registration;
Event management;
Assessment;
Analytics; and
Other programme administration.
Such providers may process information on behalf of NCSS or independently, depending on the service and applicable arrangements.
Third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Where Razorpay or another payment provider is used:
Payment information may be processed through the payment provider;
NCSS may receive transaction information necessary for reconciliation and programme administration;
NCSS does not intentionally store complete card numbers, CVV information, banking passwords or payment authentication credentials on its own systems.
Payment processing shall also be subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the relevant payment provider.
Users shall not:
Attempt unauthorised access;
Circumvent security controls;
Upload malicious code;
Interfere with website operations;
Scrape protected content;
Misrepresent identity;
Use the website unlawfully;
Infringe intellectual property; or
Attempt to compromise website or system security.
NCSS may restrict or terminate access where misuse is reasonably suspected.
Unless expressly documented by the relevant authority, neither NCSS nor Mission Safe Schools shall represent that:
The Government of India has approved the Mission;
The Ministry of Education has adopted the Mission as a statutory standard;
The Prime Minister's Office has endorsed the Mission;
NCPCR or MWCD has certified the Mission; or
A participating school has received government certification through participation.
References to government engagement shall accurately describe the nature of such engagement.
Mission Safe Schools does not guarantee:
Prevention of every safety incident;
Elimination of safeguarding risks;
Legal compliance with every applicable law;
A particular institutional outcome;
A particular assessment score;
Government adoption;
Media coverage;
Commercial opportunities;
Funding; or
Reputation enhancement.
Assessment and recommendations are based on information and evidence available at the relevant time.
An NSSB assessment does not constitute:
A statutory inspection;
A police investigation;
A government audit;
A legal opinion;
A guarantee of future safety;
A forensic investigation; or
A substitute for statutory compliance.
It represents an assessment against the applicable NCSS methodology and evidence available during the relevant assessment period.
NCSS may suspend or terminate participation where reasonably necessary due to:
Material breach of these Terms;
Fraud;
Material misrepresentation;
Fabricated evidence;
Unlawful conduct;
Serious misconduct;
Abuse or harassment of NCSS personnel;
Misuse of NCSS intellectual property;
Conduct materially affecting the integrity of the Mission; or
Failure to comply with applicable assessment requirements.
Where appropriate, NCSS may provide the Institution an opportunity to respond before termination.
Termination or withdrawal shall not affect provisions intended to survive termination, including:
Confidentiality;
Intellectual property;
Data protection;
Payment obligations;
Liability;
Indemnity;
Dispute resolution; and
Governing law.
Material already lawfully published before termination may not necessarily be capable of being withdrawn from all historical or third-party copies.
An Institution may request withdrawal from Mission Safe Schools by written notice.
Withdrawal does not automatically create a right to refund.
The Institution remains responsible for obligations accrued before withdrawal.
Mission Safe Schools may include events, conferences, conclaves, workshops or leadership sessions.
Event:
Dates;
Venues;
Speakers;
Agenda;
Format; and
Session structure
may change for operational, safety, regulatory or force-majeure reasons.
Participation does not guarantee:
Speaking opportunity;
Stage time;
Specific seating;
Media coverage;
Attendance by a particular dignitary;
Individual recognition; or
Publication.
NCSS shall not be responsible for failure or delay resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
Natural disasters;
Pandemic or epidemic;
War;
Civil unrest;
Government restrictions;
Government orders;
Strikes;
Venue cancellation;
Technology failure;
Power failure;
Cyber incidents;
Acts of God; or
Other comparable circumstances.
NCSS shall make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement where practicable.
To the extent permitted by law, the Institution agrees to indemnify NCSS, its governing members, officers, employees and authorised representatives against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising directly from:
Material misrepresentation by the Institution;
Unlawful submission or disclosure of information;
Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights by material supplied by the Institution;
Breach of these Terms;
Unauthorised use of NCSS intellectual property; or
Wilful misconduct or unlawful acts by the Institution.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent the relevant loss results from NCSS's fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NCSS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from participation in the Mission.
This may include:
Loss of profits;
Loss of business opportunity;
Loss of anticipated savings;
Loss of reputation; or
Loss arising from reliance on an assessment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable liability.
NCSS may modify:
Programme structure;
Assessment methodology;
Eligibility criteria;
Participation categories;
Events;
Tools;
Publications;
Technology;
Timelines; and
Operational processes.
Such changes may be made to improve the Mission or respond to changes in law, policy, technology, institutional requirements or operational circumstances.
Material changes affecting confirmed participation shall be communicated where reasonably practicable.
NCSS may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version shall be published on the Mission Safe Schools website with an updated effective date.
Where a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, NCSS shall take appropriate steps.
Continued participation after notification of updated Terms may constitute acceptance where legally permissible.

A grievance should, where possible, include:
Institution name;
Name and designation of complainant;
Contact details;
Application or transaction reference;
Description of the issue; and
Relevant supporting documents.
NCSS shall review grievances in accordance with its applicable internal process and law.
Privacy and personal-data grievances may additionally be submitted through the mechanism specified in the Mission Safe Schools Privacy Policy.
Questions or complaints relating specifically to personal-data processing should be addressed to the designated privacy/grievance contact identified in the Mission Safe Schools Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights available under applicable data-protection law.
The parties shall initially endeavour to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions between authorised representatives.
Where appropriate, the parties may mutually agree to mediation or another alternative dispute-resolution mechanism.
Nothing in this clause prevents a party from exercising a statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be contracted out of.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to mandatory statutory rights, disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at:
Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Nothing in this clause shall restrict any mandatory jurisdiction or statutory remedy available under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
The affected provision shall, where legally permissible, be interpreted or modified to achieve its intended lawful purpose as closely as possible.
Failure by NCSS to enforce any provision of these Terms at any time shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
The Institution may not transfer its participation to another institution without prior written approval from NCSS.
NCSS may assign or transfer its rights and obligations as part of a restructuring, organisational change or programme transition, subject to applicable law.
The Institution may accept these Terms by:
Clicking “I Agree”;
Submitting an online registration;
Making a contribution after being presented with these Terms;
Signing an electronic participation form;
Confirming participation by email; or
Otherwise expressly confirming acceptance.
Electronic records may be retained as evidence of acceptance, subject to applicable law.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written agreement entered into between NCSS and an Institution, the specific written agreement shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.
The following may govern specific aspects of participation:
Mission Safe Schools Privacy Policy — personal-data processing;
NSSB Assessment Protocol — assessment methodology;
Specific programme documentation — programme-specific benefits;
Written participation agreement — specifically agreed institutional terms.
These Terms, together with the applicable:
Privacy Policy;
Registration terms;
Assessment protocol;
Programme documentation;
Participation agreement; and
Contribution/payment documentation,
constitute the applicable understanding between NCSS and the Institution regarding Mission Safe Schools participation.

By registering, making the applicable voluntary contribution, submitting information, participating in an assessment or otherwise participating in Mission Safe Schools, the Institution confirms that:
It has read and understood these Terms;
It has authority to participate;
The information provided is accurate;
It understands that recognition is earned and not purchased;
It understands the assessment process;
It understands the cancellation and refund provisions;
It agrees to comply with applicable child-safety and data-protection requirements; and
It agrees to these Terms.
