Mission Safe Schools is the flagship national initiative of the National Council for School Safety (NCSS), created to recognise, benchmark and strengthen schools that are making meaningful contributions towards child safety, safeguarding and institutional excellence.
Every participating school is evaluated against the NCSS 4Ps Framework, the same structure that governs how safety is built, assessed and sustained across the programme. It moves institutions beyond one off compliance towards systems that actually hold up.

The National Council for School Safety (NCSS) is an initiative focused on advancing school safety, child protection and institutional preparedness through awareness, assessment, benchmarking and knowledge-sharing.
Schools are assessed through the Mission Safe Schools Framework, covering key dimensions of institutional safety, including Policy, Process, People and Practice.
Yes. The Institutional Participation Fee is ₹60,000 per school, covering participation in the Mission Safe Schools Conclave and the associated assessment and recognition journey.
Participating schools gain an opportunity to assess their readiness, benchmark their practices, identify areas for strengthening and gain national recognition for their commitment to school safety.
Every participating school helps extend the movement beyond its own campus. Through the School-to-School Impact Initiative, NCSS delivers a School Safety & Child Protection Awareness Workshop to a deserving school with limited access to structured safety training. Participating schools are recognised as Impact Partners for enabling this shared impact.
